![]() A website like simbrief for example will give you the route including SIDs and STARs. Your comments are appreciated and please don't make fun of me i'm literally a week into learning. ![]() I must be doing something wrong because the SID's and STAR's never match up no matter what route planner website i use. And it's not just this route, it's every route that i attempt. And i have the same problem with arrivals into JFK. But when i go to the DEP/ARR and choose DEP for "ATL", "SPA" is nowhere to be found. For example, my flight path might start out, KATL SID SPA J14, etc. But when i go to DEP/ARR, the SID's and STAR's never match up to what the route planner is giving me. Here's my problem, every time i have a route with waypoints etc that i download onto a PDF from route ( i think), i enter all the waypoints into the FMC page 2 of the "route" tab. I've watched tutorial after tutorial and can't seem to understand how to operate a route. I understand the basics of the aircraft and understand how to program the FMC, but i can not seem to understand SID's and STAR's. I can fly manually perfect, i can land and takeoff without a problem. ![]()
